Kenneth Lang
Associate Professor of Criminology and Criminal Justice
Dr. Kenneth Lang is Associate Professor of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Milligan University. His research focuses on Biblical principles of justice, the use and effectiveness of police composite sketches, and restorative justice praxis.
Dr. Lang is a retired detective and police instructor from the Baltimore County Police Department and served as a law enforcement officer for 25 years. His murder investigation of Wesley Person (2005), was featured on Forensic Files season 13, episode 30, “Dollars & Sense.” In 2019, Law & Crime invited him to regularly appear on their network as a legal analyst.
Dr. Lang is currently working with the Northern District of West Virginia Federal Court in designing and piloting a restorative justice program for drug offenders. He also serves as a reviewer and research ethics board member for The International Journal of Restorative Justice.
