Grete Scott

Grete Scott is Director of Developmental Studies and Instructor of Composition at Milligan University, where she specializes in writing, research, study skills, rhetoric, and reading.
At Milligan, Scott finds great fulfillment in her work with the Development Studies program where she helps students bridge the gap between expectations for writing in high school and college. She values the opportunities to work with international students and students from other parts of the country who are experiencing Tennessee for the first time.
Scott’s personal faith journey has played an integral role in shaping her academic and personal life. Growing up, she attended E91st Christian Church in Indianapolis, Indiana, and was pastored by Russ Blowers, a former board member of Milligan and Emmanuel Christian Seminary. Scott now attends Hopwood Christian Church.
