Rebekah Knisley has served as an adjunct dance professor in the musical theatre program since 2023, where she teaches Jazz, Tap, and Special Topics. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from Lincoln Memorial University and has trained in dance at studios across Tennessee and New York. Professor Knisley has extensive teaching and choreography experience at numerous studios and theaters in East Tennessee. Her most notable choreography credits include Fiddler on the Roof at Lincoln Memorial University and various shows at Jonesborough Repertory Theater such as Singin’ in the Rain, Sister Act, Annie Get Your Gun, and Crazy for You.

Professor Knisley’s faith journey began at a summer camp when she was 12 years old and has since grown at Heritage Baptist Church in Johnson City where she attends and serves regularly. Her favorite part of working at Milligan is serving the students. She feels that sharing in their faith through music, dance, and prayer is the most rewarding work she has done.
