Whitney Hanor serves as assistant professor of physician assistant studies. She has worked over 6 years for Ballad Health in outpatient urgent care settings, and she has previous experience as a PA in primary care and occupational medicine. She received a Master of Science in Medicine at Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, TN in 2014 and a Bachelor of Science in sports medicine/athletic training from King College in 2010 where she played volleyball. Hanor is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants as well as the Tennessee Academy of Physician Assistants. She has a great passion for international medical missions and has been to 13 countries including Kenya, Rwanda and Haiti. Hanor and her husband Christopher are raising their four young children on their mini-farm in Blountville, TN. They enjoy connecting with young adults and serving at Calvary Church in Gray, TN.
