The Ministry Resource Center is excited to present the annual MRC Fall Retreat again in 2026, with the theme EN(COURAGE) – Cave. Table. Road.
This unique two-night retreat is a time of rejuvenation for ministers, and consists of a mixture of learning, shared meals, spiritual direction, and unstructured time to enjoy God’s creation in a beautiful setting together. Ministers and their spouses in all stages of life are welcome to come and find fellowship and rest, with an emphasis on encouraging ministers in their first five years of ministry. Come rest, worship, and fellowship with us and return to your ministry refreshed!

2026 Speaker
Molly Conaway is the Lead Pastor at Crossings, a faith community in Knoxville, TN, where she has been ministering for 15 years. She and her husband, along with their twin 8-year-olds, manage a neighborhood community garden and will be spending the summer of 2026 on a sabbatical in various parts of Ireland and Scotland, immersed in the streams of Celtic spirituality. She has a BA in Education (Johnson University), an MDiv (Lipscomb University), and is a trained spiritual director.
2026 Retreat
Early Celtic monastics organized their lives through three primary spheres:
The cave (or the cell), where in solitude, they came to better know God and themselves.
The table, where they shared life with a close circle of believers.
The road, where they discovered how God was at work in creation, in the marketplace, and everywhere else along the way.
During our time together, we will engage new and old practices that connect to each of these spheres. With a focus on the story of the Antioch church in Acts 11, we hope this retreat will equip us with tools and experiences to help us lead with courage in chaotic times.
