Ministry Fellows Program Application This program is funded through a generous grant from the Lilly Endowment’s Pathways for Tomorrow program and partners with Milligan’s Ministry Resource Center and local churches. This program pairs MDiv residential students with local churches to serve in a variety of ministry capacities in a way that integrates classroom learning and church ministry. A brief description of each ministry placement: Crossroads Christian Church - Learn to lead and sustain a Recovery ministry and / or work with Connections ministry First Christian Church Johnson City - Learn a variety of ministry skills in a department or area that matches your interest and ministry direction. Grandview Christian Church - Learn discipleship and connection skills in local church ministry Hopwood Christian Church - Lead a college age ministry that is integrated into the life of a more traditional Appalachian church or work with pastoral ministry and visitations, youth and family ministries. The Table in Bristol - The Table is a recovery ministry and a church that meets in the Boys & Girls Club in Bristol, VA. Most of the work happens on Sunday evenings and during the week, specifically Wednesday evenings. There is an opportunity to work with specific women and men’s groups in recovery. First Christian Church of Erwin Bi-Vocational Fellowship - The fellow’s hours are divided between the church pastoral work and local non-profit work, meeting physical needs through Erwin’s Care & Share program Commitment to the Program:Can you commit to a lunch orientation (early August), mid-year survey, mid-year lunch (early Jan), and a final interview in May?
