Westside Christian Church is a small but growing congregation of 55–70 people each Sunday. Our church is laid-back, genuine, and feels more like family than business. We’re a mix of older folks and young families with kids, and we truly love and support one another. We have regular church events, including a church meal on Wednesday Nights.
After nearly closing during COVID, we’ve bounced back strong and are now in a healthy, exciting season of growth. With a new senior minister who has been with us for about a year (and is bi-vocational), we’re eager for what God has ahead. Westside Christian Church is looking for a part-time youth minister. There has not been a youth minister at the church in several years. We are at a point in our growth where we believe a youth minister is needed. The youth group is small with only about 8 students, but we want it to grow. We believe hiring someone who is passionate about sharing Jesus with students will help our church grow both spiritually and numerically. Both men and women are encouraged to apply.
Staff development:
- The church wants to do all it can to support and encourage those who are serving the church in ministry positions, and is open to discussing conferences, counseling, education, and spiritual direction. The senior minister would love to have regular meetings with the youth minister to discuss spiritual life and for mutual encouragement.
