Mount Carmel Christian Church is seeking a new full-time Worship Production Minister to serve the church community by providing leadership, guidance, and shepherding for those involved with the technical production of weekend services. This position requires someone grounded in their faith in Jesus Christ.
Technology & Equipment Responsibilities:
- Prepare, test, and ensure equipment is set up for all adult services.
- Pro-Presenter Computer, sound, lights, video
- iPads, microphones, in-ear monitors
- Update audio playlists for background music
- Create light cues for services and special events.
- Perform start up and shut down of the tech booth equipment before and after services and events.
Production Management Responsibilities:
- Manage and coach all production related volunteers for the weekend services or events.
- Attend and assist with mid-week rehearsals for Sunday services and weekly sermon reviews, and edit ProPresenter slides as needed.
- Prepare online services in RESI and Church Online for streaming. Monitor the online services and correct any anomalies.
- Participate in stage set design creative process and lead implementation.
- Set the stage for services and events.
- Work with the Worship Minister on production, technology, and equipment budget management and purchases.
- Assist with Family Ministry production and technology needs when necessary. This includes ProPresenter, TV operation, audio in classrooms, etc.
Volunteer Leadership Responsibilities:
- Manage volunteer scheduling, attendance, and coverage for all adult services and events.
- Lead all aspects of volunteer engagement for production and preparation for the service.
- Recruitment, training, and continuous engagement.
- Identify and develop new production volunteer roles as needed (e.g. a stage-hand role, etc.)
