First Baptist Church of Kingsport is a multi-generational congregation in Kingsport, TN, that provides a place of worship, community and service no matter what stage of life you are in. FBC Kingsport is seeking a new full-time Student Minister to help us grow our vibrant student ministry composed of middle school, high school, and college students. FBC is aligned with both SBC and CBF and encourages the ministry gifts of men and women. Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree and some student ministry experience preferred.

Duties include:

• Serve as the staff contact for all student Sunday School programs.
• Serve on the Youth Advisory Council and Scholarship Committee.
• Work with Minister of Children and Activities to train and supervise student youth interns. Consult and coordinate with Minister of Children on the VBS program.
• Develop and justify Student Ministry yearly budget requirements (in conjunction with the Youth Advisory Council).
• Have or be willing to obtain a CDL (Commercial Driver’s License).
• Meet regularly with the Youth Advisory Council and student parents to engage parents and students to assist in growth of our student ministry.
• Coordinate student music groups with church music ministers.
