Associate (SAT) Worship Pastor

Character Requirements

1. Immersed believer of Jesus Christ. Maintain a consistent, personal devotional life with Jesus Christ, demonstrating a love for Jesus where He is both Lord and Savior.
2. A conviction on the infallibility of God’s Word.
3. Regularly study God’s Word and any extra-Biblical literature that will advance knowledge of the scriptures.
4. Maintain a wholesome family life through time, priority, and commitment.
5. Demonstrate a genuine love for people as the highest priority of ministry through communication, cooperation, and personal relationships.
6. Demonstrate a commitment of covenant relationship to paid and volunteer co-workers of love, honor, acceptance, open communication, honesty, and harmony. Doesn’t contribute to disharmony, disunity or drama.
7. Demonstrate a humble attitude of honor, respect and submission to those in authority.8. Exhibit a work ethic of initiative, follow-through, organization and positive attitude.
8. Agrees to abstain from the use of alcohol, tobacco and illegal drugs, and adhere to the Biblical standard of sexual morality (within the bounds of marriage between a man and a woman).

Position Responsibilities

Adult Worship

1. Lead and direct the Saturday Adult Worship service.
2. Lead and direct the Monday Young Adults worship ministry.
3. Qualified and proficient vocalist and instrumentalist.
4. Work closely and partner with the Worship Pastor and Lead Pastor and other staff to put together worship service weekly.
5. Recruit, train, retain, and develop worship team volunteers.
6. Weekly schedule put together for vocal/band.
7. Assist in the selection of songs and service order with direction from Worship Pastor and Lead Pastor.

Additional Responsibilities

1. Assist all other departments occasionally with worship help and oversight.
2. Help be the face and personality of Eastside.
3. Work very closely with the Tech Director and Tech Department.
4. Skilled in Planning Center Planning Center.
5. Experience in audio playback devices.

Personality Requirements

1. Staff member should exhibit high levels of enthusiasm and energy.
2. Staff member needs a high level of charisma.
3. Staff member must be able to get teams excited and ready to go before each and every service.
4. Must be a great leader of people.
