(Y)OUR LAND — Mitchell Hancock

As an American growing up in Mexico and later living in Spain, Mitchell Hancock (’18) spent much of his life as a foreigner. Continuing a photojournalism project he began while at Milligan, “(Y)OUR LAND” serves as a photographic anthology collecting stories of foreigners in foreign lands and immigrants searching for home in new places. His exhibit invites viewers to reflect on Christ’s command in Matthew 25:35, “I was a stranger and you welcomed me.”
