Celebrating Our Appalachian Mountain Home

With this concert we celebrate the many cultures and residents of our Appalachian Mountains. The Milligan Concert Choir will join over two hundred singers from regional choirs to perform the world premiere of local composer Robert Campbelle’s Appalachian Requiem. The orchestra will also perform Haydn’s Symphony “The Bear,” and bass-baritone Michael Rodgers will sing a collection of spirituals and “Will the Circle be Unbroken,” first made famous by the Carter Family.
