A Child’s World

The Milligan Orchestra and their director Dr. Kellie Brown will celebrate the nostalgic sights and sounds of childhood that include the whimsical, the humorous, and the awe-inspiring. This concert will feature a broad range of pieces including Saint-Saëns’ “Carnival of the Animals;” Leopold Mozart’s “Toy Symphony;” Ponchielli’s “Dance of the Hours;” Anderson’s “Plink, Plank, Plunk;” Rossini’s “Cat Duet;” and Brubaker’s “Chopstix Variations.” Music from stage and screen will also be performed, including “A Spoonful of Sugar” from Mary Poppins, “When She Loved Me,” from Toy Story 2, and “Won’t You Be My Neighbor” from the beloved PBS television show Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood.
