What to Expect with a Social Work Minor

The Social Work minor exposes students to courses in social work fundamentals, such as Human Behavior in the Social Environment and Social Work Ethical and Professional Behavior. Students also will complete a field experience which provides valuable real-world work experience in a community agency serving individuals, families, groups, organizations, or communities. Course work includes case studies, interviewing skills, and travel opportunities to experience legislative and policy issues, either at the state or national level.
