MILLIGAN COLLEGE, Tenn. (Aug. 16, 2012) — The worship duo All Sons & Daughters returns to Milligan College for a concert on Monday, Aug. 27, at 8 p.m. in the McGlothlin-Street Theatre of the Gregory Center for the Liberal Arts.
They also will perform in Milligan’s convocation service on Tuesday, Aug. 28, at 11 a.m. in the Mary B. Martin Auditorium of Seeger Memorial Chapel. Both events are free and open to the public.
The duo is comprised of David Leonard and Leslie Jordan, who serve on staff at Journey Church of Franklin, Tenn. Their music flows from the life of the worshipping community at their church.
Known for songs like “Brokenness Aside” and “All The Poor And Powerless,” All Sons & Daughters’ evocative, stripped-down style and honest lyrics have quickly earned them a loyal following. They will join Christian recording artist Chris Tomlin on tour this fall.
In addition to leading worship at their church and events around the country, they have contributed to The Know Hope Collective, the groundbreaking initiative that combines worship music with stories of hope and inspiration created by Audio Adrenaline alums Mark Stuart and Will McGinniss.
“David and Leslie have found a way to capture the thoughts, emotions and sounds of their local church and put them into songs,” said Jay King, vice president of A&R/Artist Development at Integrity Music. “All Sons & Daughters is more than a worship band. They represent us as people who are still on a journey. And they are creating the soundtrack for that journey.”
