MILLIGAN COLLEGE, Tenn. (April 9, 2010) – Milligan College’s master of science in occupational therapy program (MSOT) will present its annual Occupational Therapy Expo on Wednesday, April 21, from 3-7 p.m. in the lower level of Milligan’s Hardin Hall. The event is free and open to the public.
The annual expo allows MSOT students to demonstrate skills they have acquired throughout their graduate studies at Milligan. Students will present their projects including innovative adaptive equipment, books and resources, promotional materials, therapy games and other original creations.
Recently named one of the most secure jobs for the next decade, occupational therapy is a growing field that takes a holistic approach in helping injured or aging people become more independent and relearn basic living skills. As Milligan’s MSOT program moves into its second decade of training students for this growing field, it continues to increase its number of graduates and gain national attention for the work of its professors and students.
