MILLIGAN COLLEGE, TENN. (February 18, 2010) – Ben Cachiaras, president of the 2010 North American Christian Convention, will speak at Milligan College on Thursday, Feb. 25, at 11 a.m. in Seeger Memorial Chapel. The event is free and open to the public.
Cachiaras is the senior minister at Mountain Christian Church in Joppa, Md., where he has served since 1997. He is also the former minister of Grandview Christian Church in Johnson City, Tenn.
The North American Christian Convention (NACC) began in 1927 as a convention for vocational Christian leaders. Since the 1960s, the NACC has attracted both vocational and non-vocational Christian leaders and their families. The convention now serves as a connecting place, providing ideas, inspiration and identity for churches.
This year’s convention, titled “BEYOND,” will be held July 6-9 in Indianapolis, Ind.
