MILLIGAN COLLEGE, Tenn. (November 4, 2009) — Chad and Leslie Segraves, co-founders of the interdenominational mission agency 10/40 Connections, will speak at Milligan College on Tuesday, Nov. 10, and Thursday, Nov. 12, in Milligan’s Seeger Memorial Chapel. Both services begin at 11 a.m.
10/40 Connections partners at various levels with indigenous believers and leaders across the globe. The Segraves co-direct the organization. Leslie serves as the executive director, and Chad is the international ministries director.
“God has given believers the message and ministry of reconciliation,” said Chad. “Currently, 10/40 does a variety of ministries allowing the context and partnership with national believers to determine the best strategy for extending hope in particular regions.”
Their ministry efforts include digging bore wells, engaging in justice that prevents the trafficking of young women, preventing the exploitation of girls, and restoring victims of exploitation. They have also provided education and food for children in slums and helped to equip church planters.
Through its partnerships, 10/40 Connections mobilizes the church to engage in God’s mission, promote the partnership of males and females through gift-based ministry, and engage in ministries of word and deed that enable unreached peoples to experience God.
