MILLIGAN COLLEGE — Milligan College held its annual homecoming parade Saturday afternoon with campus clubs and societies leading their floats and banners down Blowers Boulevard in the center of campus.
The college’s president, Dr. Don Jeanes, and his wife, Clarinda Jeanes, led the parade seated in the back of a 1957 Ford Thunderbird. This will be Jeanes’ last homecoming in his role as Milligan’s president, as he announced this week his intent to retire in July. Other homecoming weekend activities include a 5K run to benefit scholarships, a drama production, a dinner to honor distinguished alumni and a coffee house concert.
