MILLIGAN COLLEGE, TN (October 15, 2009) — Milligan College will offer the community a different approach to trick or treating this Halloween during “Trunk or Treat,” Thursday, Oct. 29, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the canyon parking lot located below Milligan’s Steve Lacy Fieldhouse.
A safe and fun environment developed especially for children, “Trunk or Treat” will allow area youth an opportunity to enjoy this age old custom in a new and exciting way. Milligan students and faculty will dress in costume and decorate their cars to house a variety of treats for participants. Music and games will be provided throughout the night with “trunk or treaters” competing for the top prize in a costume contest at 6:30 p.m. The winner will receive a $20 gift card to Chuck E. Cheese’s or Fun Expedition.
“Trunk or Treat” is sponsored by LINC. The LINC Volunteer Center links the needs and interests of Milligan students to the needs of the community.
