MILLIGAN COLLEGE, TN (April 6, 2009) – The artistic works of Milligan College senior Megan Bowser will be on display April 5-10 in the Milligan College Art Gallery located in Derthick Hall. An opening reception for the senior art exhibit, entitled “Yes and No,” will be held Sunday, April 5, from 2 to 4 p.m.
The show will display approximately 20 paintings, drawings, mixed media assemblages and sculptures.
“I pray that everything I do, including this work of my hands, will say ‘yes’ to life and peace and truth and that this affirmation will itself be the most powerful resistance, or ‘no,’ to death, fear and manipulation,” said Bowser.
Bowser, a native of Palm Bay, Fla., is an art and humanities major at Milligan. The exhibit is free and open to the public.
