MILLIGAN, Tenn. (April 23, 2025) – Milligan University is pleased to announce the winners of the 2025 Juried Art Exhibition. Selected by guest juror Jason Flack, 33 works were chosen from a total of 63 entries.
Awards of Excellence were presented to Kendall Arnold, Michael Ward, Eliza Slater, Ariana Floyd, Caitlin Quinn and Isabelle Vaca. Awards of Merit were given to Aiden Bailey, McKenzie Fitzgerald, Adam Bengtson, Morgan Dyer, Tara Stewart and Floyd, who was recognized in both categories.
“It was my pleasure and honor to be chosen as the juror for this art exhibition,” said Flack, a native of Johnson City, Tennessee, and the recipient of the Art Alliance Mountain Empire Art Achievement Award in 2023. “I was inspired and impressed with all the work I had the privilege to spend time with. I respect the talents, the courage, the imagination and exploration of all the participating artists.”
The Juried Art Exhibition showcases the talents and skills of Milligan art, photography, graphic design and interactive media design students. The exhibit is located in the Milligan Art Gallery located inside Derthick Hall. The exhibit will remain open through tomorrow, April 24.
