MILLIGAN COLLEGE, TN (March 9, 2004) — Glen Road, a traditional Irish music band, will be performing two concerts at Milligan College’s Seeger Memorial Chapel on March 30 at 11 a.m. and at 7:30 p.m. Both concerts are open to the public with no admission charge.

The Celtic trio includes Mike Dugger on guitar and vocals, Turlach Boylan on flute and banjo, and Greg Brown on fiddle and Anglo concertina. The band plays traditional music from Ireland and Newfoundland, including both new and old songs.

Glen Road has performed in several concerts, schools and festivals across the nation. The band released their first CD, Round The Bend, in 2002. Dugger also has a solo album, At Early Dawn, and Turlach has two albums, The Tidy Cottage and Shame the Devil.

In addition to the concert, band members will talk about their personal experiences and the history and instruments of the traditional Irish and Newfoundland music. There will also be a short question and answer period with the audience.
