MILLIGAN, Tenn. (Dec. 6, 2024) — The 18th annual “Buffalo Tales,” one of Milligan University’s longstanding and beloved traditions, will take place on Tuesday, Dec. 10, at 6:30 p.m. in the McGlothlin-Street Theatre located in the Gregory Center.
“Buffalo Tales” is a family-friendly, student storytelling event. The event is the culmination of a storytelling class taught by bestselling novelist and award-winning storyteller Steven James.
Over the course of the semester, students in this course have written original stories based on Biblical characters, their own experiences and world folklore. For “Buffalo Tales,” each student will go onstage to share one of their stories.
“It has been a delight to see the communication skills and styles of the students develop over the course of the semester,” said James. “The event celebrates the storytelling culture of our region and the vibrant and creative stories of students. I know you will enjoy and be impressed by their efforts.”
This event is free and open to the public. For more Milligan arts events, visit www.milligan.edu/arts.
