Computer Science Summer Camp

June 9-13, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Join us for a hands-on learning exploration where you will be introduced to cybersecurity and networking basics, computer functionality, logic and problem solving. No pre-knowledge of software or hardware is needed. Participate in an interactive environment with computer science faculty where an examination of theory and application are pursued.

  • Cybersecurity concepts such as: password management, firewalls, & antivirus functionality.
  • Problem solving and logic in relation to software programming.
  • Networking basics and data transmission protocol.
  • Examining computer hardware and functionality.
  • Comprehension and ability to build a home network.

You will receive:

Registration

Registration is open to rising high school freshmen through seniors (Class of 2025). Register by May 15 for a discount!

  • $175 before May 15
  • $225 after May 15

No refunds will be issued.

Camp students may be identified or photographed for publication, broadcast, transmission and/or electronic display by the news media or University public relations officials. Unless a written statement to the contrary is filed with the Office of Summer Programs PRIOR to the start of camp, camp students waive their model rights to be photographed for the University’s print and online publications without prior notice.
