MILLIGAN COLLEGE, Tenn. (Nov. 6, 2015) — Whether you’re a “History Buff,” a “Sports Buff,” a “Science Buff” or an “Arts Buff,” prospective students will experience what it’s like to be a Milligan College Buff at a visit day event designed especially for high school juniors on Friday, Nov. 20.
Named “Junior Buff Day” in honor of Milligan’s mascot, Brutus the Buffalo, this visit day will provide high school juniors, as well as their families, a snapshot of campus life packed into one day.
The event includes opportunities for students to meet one-on-one with current students and faculty, tour campus, visit classes and learn more about financial aid, scholarships and Milligan’s more than 100 majors, minors, pre-professional degrees, concentrations and graduate programs.
“‘Junior Buff Day’ is the perfect way for potential students to learn more about Milligan College,” said Kristin Wright, director of admissions. “We want to give juniors strategies to begin preparing for their calling and education right now. Students here are known by name, and at the visit day, they can talk face-to-face with students, faculty and staff to understand just how much care and individual attention the Milligan community provides.”
“Junior Buff Day” begins at 9 a.m. in the Gregory Center. Lunch will be provided in the McCormick Dining Center for students and their families. The day will end with a Vespers service.
