Milligan ranks among top Christian colleges and universities

MILLIGAN COLLEGE, Tenn. (August 19, 2015) — Milligan College has been recognized as one of the top Christian colleges in the country for the second year in a row by Christian Universities Online.

Milligan was ranked 17th among the “50 Best Christian Colleges and Universities” for 2015, according to Christian Universities Online, an independent online resource for prospective students and their families researching Christian higher education. The ranking highlights colleges or universities that excel in categories of personal attention to students, selectivity, readily available financial aid and overall student satisfaction.

Christian Universities Online also ranked Milligan’s Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) program at No. 34 among the nation’s “50 Best Value Christian MBA Programs.” According to them, the ranked institutions “not only position their graduates for a significant increase in their salary, but they also equip and train their graduates to integrate their Christian faith into the fast-paced and challenging environment they will face upon graduation.”

Milligan also was ranked No. 25 on the “50 Most Affordable Christian Colleges and Universities” which ranked each of the schools according to “net price” tuition data.

“It is an honor for Milligan and our MBA program to be chosen among the nation’s top Christian schools,” said President Dr. Bill Greer. “Our MBA graduates go on not only to lead businesses in this region and around the world, but they are even more sought after because they serve a higher purpose as Christian servant leaders in their community.”

Milligan’s MBA program is designed to increase and improve students technical skills, while at the same time engaging students to think critically about their role as positive influences in the workplace. The program offers concentrations in leadership, healthcare management and operations management. To learn more, visit www.milligan.edu/academics/mba.

The Christian Universities Online ranking for colleges was built using publicly available data in the following categories: faculty-to-student ratio, percent of full-time beginning undergraduates receiving grant or scholarship aid, selectivity, overall retention and graduation rates.

For the MBA ranking, qualifying schools were ranked based upon the number of concentrations offered, tuition costs and special business school accreditation. To learn more about the ranking, visit www.christianuniversitiesonline.org.
