Dr. Eisenback earned a Ph.D. in Entomology from Virginia Tech in 2008. He has taught in Christian higher education since 2008, and joined the Milligan Faculty in 2014.  Dr. Eisenback’s regular classes include Ecology, Environmental Science, Plants and Human Society, Principles of Biology II, and General Biology. His classes often venture outdoors to learn about animals, plants, streams and forests.

Dr. Eisenback regularly takes his classes outside to learn forest ecology, stream ecology, and tree identification. Dr. Eisenback is also interested in origins, and is currently writing a book about science and Christian faith.

Brian’s wife Ashley is a licensed veterinarian. They have two young daughters; Madeline (2012), and Emma (2015). The Eisenback family enjoys the outdoors. They also love animals; they have a full house with 2 dogs, 3 cats, multiple goldfish, a turtle, and a Madagascar hissing cockroach.
