Hilton-Prillhart holds Bachelor of Arts (1997) and Master of Education (1998) degrees from East Tennessee State University and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in School Psychology (2011) from the University of Tennessee. In addition to teaching at Milligan, her past experiences include working as a special education teacher in Virginia and Maryland and in schools and clinics as a licensed psychologist. Dr. Hilton-Prillhart is a licensed psychologist in the state of Tennessee and a Nationally Certified School Psychologist. She specializes in the areas of learning disabilities, psychological assessment including assessment for Autism and ADHD, behavioral interventions, and diagnosis and intensive intervention with children with dyslexia. She has published articles in School Psychology Review, Gifted Child Quarterly, and Psychology in the Schools.
Dr. Hilton-Prillhart is active in her local church and enjoys spending time with her family.
