Mareena Rodriguez

Adjunct Instructor of Music, Applied Voice and Musical Theatre

Mareena Rodríguez serves as an adjunct professor of applied voice and musical theatre at Milligan University. She is an accomplished soprano with experience in a wide range of musical theatre and operatic roles.

Professor Rodríguez has performed notable roles including Gypsy in The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Eve/Mama in Children of Eden, Sally Brown in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, Mabel in Gilbert & Sullivan’s The Pirates of Penzance, Dame 1/Spirit 2 in Mozart’s The Magic Flute, and Blue Fairy/Olympia in Jonathan Dove’s The Adventures of Pinocchio.

In addition to her performance career, Professor Rodríguez maintains a private voice studio and serves as an interim worship leader at Church of God. She is working towards ordination through the Church of God and is passionate about blending her love for music and faith. She is committed to helping students grow as both musicians and followers of Christ.
