Dr. Trini Rangel serves as a Professor of Sport and Exercise Science at Milligan University, where he also chairs the Area of Sport and Exercise Science and serves as the Faculty Athletics Representative. His dissertation was a holistic view of obesity, particularly exploring its relationship to religiosity, social support, and depression. Dr. Rangel has been part of a faith community for as long as he can remember. Much of his faith journey took form while attending a Christian junior and senior high school. It was at this point that his faith became a personal experience and continues to guide him many years later.

His favorite part of serving at Milligan is our energizing students! With a diverse student population in many respects, he enjoys working with students on the full spectrum of faith, educational background, and experiences.
