Dr. Andrew Hull is the Program Director and Area Chair of the Physician Assistant (PA) Program at Milligan University, where he also serves as an Associate Professor. His primary responsibilities include overseeing and leading all aspects of the program, ensuring accreditation compliance, supporting faculty and staff, and providing instruction for students. With 15 years of experience as a dermatology PA, dermatology is his primary area of expertise.
Dr. Hull is deeply committed to creating an effective self-assessment process for the PA program to ensure an exceptional educational experience for students, equipping them to be outstanding PAs for their future patients. Among his most significant accomplishments are serving as the founding director of Milligan’s PA program, achieving full accreditation, and receiving several prestigious awards, including the 40 Under Forty Award in 2016, the Healthcare Heroes Award in 2018, and Milligan University’s Sam Jack Hyder Q.E.D. Award in 2023. He also earned his Doctor of Medical Science degree in 2023.
Dr. Hull has been a speaker and guest lecturer at numerous conferences and PA programs, addressing topics related to dermatology and program assessment. He has served as a Board Member of the Tennessee Board of Physician Assistants since 2022.
A lifelong member of Boones Creek Christian Church, Dr. Hull has served as a deacon and elder and teaches a Sunday school class. He is passionate about serving others within and beyond the church, living out his belief in servant leadership.
At Milligan, Dr. Hull finds great joy in collaborating with the dedicated PA program faculty and cherishes the program’s small class size, which allows for strong connections with students. He especially enjoys witnessing students’ growth and development during their time in the program.
