MILLIGAN, Tenn. (Oct. 14, 2026) — Milligan University will host its annual Trunk or Treat event on Tuesday, Oct. 20, from 6 – 8 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
Trunk or Treat will take place in the parking lot of Milligan’s Faculty Office Building, and parking will be available for visitors in the adjacent parking lot behind the Student Union Building.
Trunk or Treat provides families with a safe environment to dress up in costumes and collect candy. Milligan students encourage the fun by decorating their parked cars as various characters and themes, adorning their own costumes, and passing out candy.
The event is organized by Milligan’s Student Government Association and continues to be a beloved way for students to engage with and serve the university’s surrounding communities.
“Every year during Homecoming, Milligan students participate in Trunk or Treat to give back to the community, connect with other students, and promote their organization, club or athletic team,” said Elise Halkos, Milligan’s SGA President and a junior double majoring in English and political science. “SGA is excited to host Trunk or Treat again for this year’s Homecoming celebration.”
