MILLIGAN, Tenn. (Dec.19, 2025) – Milligan University’s annual Christmas concert will be available for all to enjoy on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day thanks to WJHL-TV. Experience the glorious sounds and sights of the season from your home as Milligan’s choirs, orchestra and organ perform in the beautifully decorated Seeger Chapel.
A recording of the one-hour concert performed earlier this month will air on ABC Tri-Cities from noon to 1 p.m. (EST) on Christmas Eve and from 5-6 p.m. (EST) on Christmas Day on News Channel 11. WJHL will also provide a livestream of the concert at wjhl.com during the broadcast times for viewers outside of the region to watch.
“This concert remains one of our music program’s most cherished traditions,” said Dr. Kellie Brown, chair of Milligan’s area of music. “We love sharing this gift of music with the community in celebration of the advent of the Messiah.”
Milligan’s Christmas concert offers a worshipful celebration of the Christmas season. The concert includes festive carol sing-alongs and concludes with a moving candle-lighting and the singing of “Silent Night.”

Milligan’s music events in 2026
The Milligan Concert Choir and Heritage will present a home concert, “Shelter in a Time of Storm,” on Sunday, March 22, at 3:30 p.m. in the Mary B. Martin Auditorium following their spring break tour. The program reflects on God’s loving care and will include both a cappella selections and pieces accompanied by Milligan instrumentalists.
Musical Theatre will present a “Screen to Stage Cabaret” bringing your favorite songs from movies to the stage on Friday, March 27, at 7:30 p.m. in the McGlothlin-Street Theatre in the Gregory Center.
The Milligan Orchestra will return to the stage on Saturday, April 18, at 7:30 p.m. in the Mary B. Martin Auditorium with “At the Threshold,” a concert celebrating how composers have depicted life’s many transitions.
