MILLIGAN, Tenn. (Dec. 1, 2025) – Milligan senior graphic design major Tara Stewart, of Craigavon, Northern Ireland, will present a virtual design showcase beginning Tuesday, Dec. 2, at 7 p.m. in Milligan’s Virtual Art Gallery. The gallery will go live at 7 p.m. and can be accessed via the QR code listed on the promotional poster.
Stewart’s showcase, “CTRL + CREATIVE,” features her work in branding, digital, interactive and print design.
“The title of my show came from this idea of balance,” said Stewart. “The ‘CTRL’ stands for the structure and control behind the creative process, the technical side of design, where digital tools and precision bring ideas to life. The ‘CREATIVE’ side represents freedom, exploration and the imagination that drives it all. I like to think I find a good balance between the two.”
As an international and transfer student, Stewart believes she brings a diverse perspective to her work. The graphic design major became a perfect fit for her curiosity, drive, storytelling and humor.
“After transferring to Milligan, I realized design was where my heart really was,” shared Stewart. “I want to thank my family, friends, professors and mentors for always believing in me. My dad especially deserves a huge thank you. I wouldn’t even be in the U.S. studying and competing in tennis without his constant support and encouragement to chase my dreams.”
