MILLIGAN, Tenn. (Jan. 23, 2025) — Milligan University students will welcome their families to campus Jan. 31-Feb. 2 for Family Weekend, an annual opportunity for parents and siblings to experience life at Milligan.
On-campus events are planned throughout the weekend, but families are encouraged to visit and explore the Appalachian Highlands as well.
“Family weekend is a special time for families to experience life at Milligan alongside their students,” said Juan Villalba, director of campus activities. “Students get to enjoy Milligan’s beautiful campus, eat a meal and cheer on the Buffs alongside their whole family. Everyone gets to see just how special the Milligan community is.”
On Friday, families can enjoy a Bob Ross painting event at 7:30 p.m. in Milligan’s McMahan Student Center. A reception will be held for students named to the academic dean’s list on Saturday from 11 a.m.-12 p.m. in the McMahan Student Center. There will also be multiple athletic events on campus for Milligan’s baseball and basketball teams.
