MILLIGAN, Tenn. (Sept. 9, 2024) — Milligan University is now inviting nominations for the 2025 Leaders in Christian Service (LCS) program.
For over two decades, Milligan has recognized various professionals who exemplify Christian character and service in their churches, careers and communities. In recent years, Milligan has also recognized students who exemplify Christian leadership.
“Milligan’s mission is to honor God by educating men and women to be servant-leaders in a variety of professions,” said Milligan President Dr. Stephen Waers. “Holding this service allows us to honor servant-leaders, which provides the entire community with models to imitate.”
LCS nominees should display excellence of Christian character; strong Christian example through professional, vocational or volunteer leadership; and evidence of Christian service in the church and community.
Recommendations will be accepted until Nov. 30. The 2025 Leaders in Christian Service ceremony is scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 16, at 11 a.m. in Milligan’s Mary B. Martin Auditorium located in Seeger Chapel. The service is free and open to the public.
