MILLIGAN, Tenn. (Feb. 1, 2023) — Milligan University welcomes award-winning singer and author Nicole C. Mullen for the Eleanore L. Campbell Ladies Luncheon on Saturday, March 25. Sponsored by UBS Financial Services, Inc., the event will be held in the university’s McCormick Dining Center located in Sutton Hall from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. The luncheon is hosted by the Associated Ladies for Milligan (ALM) with the media partnership of 88.3 WCQR.
Mullen’s sincerity and artistic integrity have guided her over her 30-year music career. She has garnered two Grammy® Award nominations and nine Gospel Music Association Dove Awards. Her Dove Awards include two Female Vocalist of the Year honors, Song of the Year Awards for “Redeemer” and “On My Knees,” Urban Album of the Year for “Everyday People,” and Contemporary Song of the Year for “Call on Jesus.”
In 2020, Mullen released her compelling book, “My Redeemer Lives: It’s Personal, A Story of Hope for our Time,” sharing her faith and experiences. From the once shy little girl who stuttered, to becoming the woman who experienced heartbreak and domestic violence, Mullen shares how she encountered a love from God that heals and gives hope.
In discussing her book, Mullen shares, “I want people to be healed, released, empowered and encouraged. I want them to see the power of redemption and the relevancy of the Scriptures in our everyday living.”
The Eleanore L. Campbell Ladies Lunch is an event for women of all ages to be spiritually fed and recharged through biblical teaching and fellowship with other women throughout the region.
The purpose of ALM is to raise scholarship dollars for the university, be an outreach to the campus community and enrich women’s ministry in the local community. Proceeds raised from the event benefit the ALM Endowment to provide student scholarships at Milligan.
Registration is $40 and includes lunch. Participants must register by Wednesday, March 15, and no tickets will be sold at the door. For more information and registration, visit www.milligan.edu/alm or call 800.447.5922.
