MILLIGAN, Tenn. (Aug. 14, 2020) —This morning, Milligan University faculty and staff returned to campus to assist the physical plant staff with some final, outdoor campus beautification efforts before students arrive on campus.
Milligan’s faculty and staff divided into small groups to complete a checklist of outdoor projects, including landscaping, painting and pressure washing. In compliance with Milligan’s fall safety protocols, all employees wore a mask and practiced social distancing.
“This annual tradition looks a little different this year as we focus on tasks that allow for our employees to be outdoors and maintain social distance, but everyone’s efforts today reflect our excitement for our students’ long-awaited return to campus,” said Milligan President Dr. Bill Greer. “This tradition also provides the chance to say thank you to our physical plant staff who work to make campus as beautiful as possible every day.”
Milligan students begin arriving on campus on Aug. 21, with classes beginning Aug. 25.
