MILLIGAN COLLEGE, Tenn. (Oct. 15, 2018) — Milligan College will host its annual “Trunk or Treat” event on Monday, Oct. 29, 6-8 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
“Trunk or Treat” provides a safe and fun environment for children and youth to dress in their costumes. Participants will walk among decorated, parked cars and Milligan students will pass out candy.
“Our students ensure that this event is a success each year, as they create a fun environment by dressing in costumes and decorating their cars,” said Beth Anderson, director of Milligan’s Institute for Servant Leadership. “Milligan’s students value this opportunity to interact and give back to the local community.”
This year’s “Trunk or Treat” event will be held in the lower parking lot of the Steve Lacy Fieldhouse. Parking will be available for visitors in the upper level parking lot by the Fieldhouse.
“Trunk or Treat” is sponsored by LINC (Linking Individuals to the Needs of the Community). The LINC volunteer center is a student-run organization that connects Milligan students to volunteer needs in the surrounding community.
