MILLIGAN COLLEGE, Tenn. (March 31, 2017) — Milligan College continues its spring senior art exhibitions with Sarah Knapton’s fine arts showcase, “Soli Deo Gloria” (Latin for “Glory to God alone”), running April 2 to April 8 in the Milligan Art Gallery, located in Derthick Hall. A free opening reception will be held Sunday, April 2, 2 to 4 p.m.
“In my showcase, I display the layers of my heart that I have explored and discovered over the past three years,” said Knapton, of Stoughton, Wisconsin. “The purpose of this show is to express glory to God through every aspect of my heart.”
Knapton’s work draws on various media such as oil painting, graphic design, photography and sculpture. After graduating, she hopes to continue her passion for fine arts in ministry.
Milligan’s final senior show will be Brittany Helms, April 9-14.
