Milligan College students helped pack food for Haiti on Tuesday, Sept. 30, in Milligan’s Gregory Center for the Liberal Arts. Food Aid International sponsored the event in partnership with the Live Love Movement Tour, which stopped at Milligan on Tuesday to lead students in Christian worship and justice ministries.

Students weighed and packaged meals formulated to provide a rich source of easily digestible protein, carbohydrates and vitamins needed by a malnourished child’s body and mind. Dr. Chris Leader, president of Food Aid International, said the meals would be dispersed through various programs in Haiti to nourish children and their families, as well as to spread the word of Christianity.
