MILLIGAN COLLEGE, TN (Oct. 3, 2013) — Milligan College alumnus Dyke McCord will speak on Tuesday, Oct. 8, at 11 a.m. in Milligan’s Mary B. Martin Auditorium of Seeger Memorial Chapel. The event is free and open to the public.
McCord is the senior minister of Church of Christ at Manor Woods in Rockville, Md., where he has served since 2001. A 1991 Milligan graduate, he is a fifth generation Restoration Movement preacher. The Restoration Movement began as a 19th century effort to restore unity among Christians.
McCord said his message will focus on the Old Testament, highlighting “the Bible’s best ‘riches to rags to riches’ story where you might be surprised to find yourself.”
