MILLIGAN COLLEGE, TN (Jan. 17, 2013) — Known for her ministry to women all over the world, Lisa Harper will provide a day of spiritual renewal and study for women at the annual Eleanore L. Campbell Ladies Conference on Saturday, Feb. 23, at Milligan College.
Hosted by Associated Ladies for Milligan (ALM), this conference for women will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Gregory Center for the Liberal Arts.
The conference, titled “Stumbling into Grace,” is a day for women of all ages to be spiritually fed and recharged through biblical teaching, uplifting music and fellowship with other women from throughout the region.
Harper’s writing and speaking overflow with colorful pop culture references that connect the dots between the Bible era and modern life. Her style combines sound scriptural exposition with easy-to-relate-to anecdotes and comedic wit.
She served as the director of the Focus on the Family’s national women’s ministry for six years and created the popular Renewing the Heart conferences attended by almost 200,000 women.
Now a popular Bible teacher and speaker, she is featured on the Women of Faith tour and speaks at retreats, conferences and churches all over the world. She is the author of 10 books and has appeared on numerous syndicated radio and television programs.
She holds a master’s degree in theological studies with honors from Covenant Seminary in St. Louis.
Registration for the conference is $35 per person before Feb. 1, and $40 after Feb. 1. Student registration is $20, if received by Feb. 1. A box lunch will be provided. In addition, a special offering will be taken to benefit the ALM Endowment, which permanently provides student scholarships at Milligan.
