MILLIGAN COLLEGE, Tenn. (April 21, 2011) — This year marks the 11th anniversary of Milligan College’s annual Film Festival. Student films will be screened on Friday, April 29, at 5:30 p.m. in the McGlothlin-Street Theatre of Milligan’s Gregory Center for the Liberal Arts. This event is free and open to the public.
The festival showcases the year’s best short films by Milligan’s student filmmakers. The festival features a diverse group of films in a variety of genres and styles, often showcasing student actors. The filmmakers will briefly field questions about their work after each screening.
The featured student films include:
- “Camp Death” and “My Greatest Fear” by James Butcher, a senior from Marietta, Ga.
- “Evil Geniuses of the Communications Department” by Lee Lindsey, a senior from Switz City, Ind.
- “Empty Apartments” by Melanie Richards, a senior from Knoxville, Tenn.
- “Steamer Confidential” and “White Lilies” by Lori Strunk, a senior from Boonsboro, Md.
