MILLIGAN COLLEGE, Tenn. (March 17, 2011) — Shauna Slemp, a Milligan College senior from Fall Branch, Tenn., will present her senior voice recital on Saturday, March 26, at 7:30 p.m. in Milligan’s Mary B. Martin Auditorium in Seeger Memorial Chapel. The recital is free and open to the public.
The program will feature music by Mozart, Rossini, Mahler, Poulenc and others.
During her time at Milligan, Slemp has been assistant conductor and a member of the Milligan College Concert Choir. In 2010, she worked with high school students in Milligan College’s Fine Arts Summer Academy. She was awarded the Outstanding Music Student Scholarship and has been named to the Academic Dean’s List every semester during her time at Milligan.
