Renowned international worship leader to speak at Milligan

MILLIGAN COLLEGE, Tenn. (August 26, 2010) — Dave Bilbrough, one of Britain’s foremost worship leaders and songwriters, will speak and lead worship at Milligan College on Tuesday, Sept. 7, at 11 a.m. in Seeger Memorial Chapel. This event is free and open to the public.

Bilbrough’s worship style draws on folk roots and world music influences. Some of his original praise songs include “Abba Father,” “All Hail the Lamb,” “Holy Ground” and “Let There Be Love.”

His ministry of music emphasizes grace and faithfulness to God as well as uninhibited praise and reconciliation. Bilbrough has written three books that focus on these themes. He has led various worship celebrations throughout the world and has made multiple appearances on television and radio. He also served two consecutive years as judge for the “contemporary worship” category of BBC radio’s nationwide songwriting competition.

Bilbrough’s most recent project is “Tales of a Troubadour,” a presentation he created as a tool to reach unbelievers. It is formatted as an autobiographical journey of faith.
