MILLIGAN COLLEGE, TN (March 31, 2010) – The Milligan College Women’s Chorale, under the direction of Anne B. Elliott, will present its second annual spring concert on Friday, April 16, at 7:30 p.m. in Seeger Memorial Chapel’s Walker Auditorium on the Milligan campus. The concert is free and open to the public.
The evening will feature a variety of selections in sacred, contemporary Christian, jazz and Broadway music.
“The Women’s Chorale showcases the beautiful musical sound of female voices,” said Elliott, assistant professor of the practice of music at Milligan. “The ensemble is open to all female students on campus, so the group consists of singers of various majors and musical backgrounds.”
