MILLIGAN COLLEGE, TN (September 11, 2009) – International Disaster Emergency Services (IDES) Executive Director Rick Jett will speak at Milligan College’s convocation service on Tuesday, Sept. 15, at 11 a.m. in Seeger Chapel.
Jett, who also serves as president of the National Missionary Convention, began serving as a member of the IDES board of directors in January of 1986. He served as chairman of the board for nine years before being appointed executive director in 2002.
Committed to glorifying God by bringing help and hope to a hurting world, IDES provides many services to individuals around the world through projects that focus on evangelism, hunger, disaster, development and medical attention.
