MILLIGAN COLLEGE, TN (Jan. 11, 2006) — Jacqui Steadman has been named vice president for finance at Milligan College, following the resignation of former associate vice president Chris Rolph.
Rolph, who has been at Milligan since 1995, has accepted a position as vice president of business and finance at Atlanta Christian College in Atlanta, Ga.
“Chris has been an extremely valuable team member,” said Milligan President Donald R. Jeanes. “I have valued his professionalism and his detail. We have consistently balanced the budget and obtained an outstanding audit report from our external auditors each year.”
Jeanes said he was pleased to find a successor for Rolph who would bring the same level of professionalism to the College.
Steadman has been an audit supervisor at Blackburn, Childers, and Steagall in Johnson City for the past 10 years. A certified public accountant, she is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants. She serves on the board of Providence Education Partners at Providence Academy. She is a graduate of East Tennessee State University.
At Milligan, Steadman will serve as director of the budget and controller, and she will oversee student financial services.
“Jacqui is very familiar with Milligan College and our business area, having worked on several of our audits with BCS,” said Milligan President Donald R. Jeanes. “We are pleased that she is joining our leadership team.”
Steadman will begin her duties at Milligan on Feb. 6.
